  1. draw the graph given an equation of the form y = mx + c
  2. determine whether a given point lies on a specific straight line
  3. write the equation of the straight line given the gradient and y-intercept
  4. determine the gradient and y-intercept of the straight line which equation is of the form:

    a) y = mx + c

    b) ax + by = c

Learning activities :

  1. Discuss a few examples in format SPM.
  2. Students are required to do the exercise from workbook.

  • state the safety precautions when handling Group 1 elements.
