Perform calculation on matrices involving addition, subtraction and scalar multiplication. Solve matrix equations involving addition, subtraction and scalar multiplication.
Learning activities :	Teacher explains the way how to multiply a matrix by a number. Discuss a few examples. Students are required to do exercise from workbook.

Learning activities :	Teacher explains the meaning of reactants and products and ask students to identify them. Teacher shows the way how to balance the chemical equations by discussing a few examples. Discuss a few examples to solve the numerical problems. Students are required to complete the exercise from workbook as homework.
